Deterioration of the hair is completely natural process of decay of the protein of hair keratin structures, and usually is not of great importance to the overall hair quality, however this rate of wear may be gradually increasing due to excessive washing, friction, influence of UV rays, water chemicals, hot air from the hairdryer, etc. Also due to effects of low temperature, sun rays, sea water, wind and other aggressive environmental factors there are so called free radicals that occur and damage specifically scalp skin and hair balance, not talking about causing an adverse impact on entire human body. When normal tap water is used for hair washing you should keep in mind it contains chlorine, salts of metals (magnesium, iron, etc.) and other contaminants that settle on the hair and skin of the head. This residue can cause the appearance of itch and dandruff. In addition, if you scratch your scalp skin you can easily and quickly damage your hair. And, for example, if sebaceous glands produce insufficient sebum, your hair become dry, fragile and brittle, and, as time goes by and if you do not take proper care of the dry skin of your scalp, the hair get damaged more and more as simuntaneously dry dandruff and eventually dry seborrhea may develop. Also, on the contrary, if sebaceous glands produce excesive sebum, this still may lead to damaged hair eventually due to scalp skin overall greasy disbalance.
