Eczema (from Greek eczeo - stew, as on the surface of the skin it appears as a lot of small bubbles, which quickly burst as bubbles of boiling water) - this skin disease often has a chronic allergic origin, characterized by symptoms as follows: on the surface of the skin there are all sorts of rashes on the background of red gummy skin; small bubbles could be dispersed all over the skin surface with a transparent pinkish in colour fluid inside them; these bubbles merge inbetween forming homogeneous larger bubbles; as these bubbles burst, the skin underneath appears to be wet wet and does not dry for a long time; as it dryes it forms a drying crust, which often has cracks and scratches because of a very strong and constant itching. Gradually, the skin in those areas gets gradually thicker, becomes dry and rough, do not peel off easily. Also in addition eczema is characterized by a very strong and constant itching. This disease is endogenous, or constitutional, that is, external factors do not play a big role in the disease. Currently, the eczema disease is about 40% of all skin diseases. Most patients, regardless of age and sex, have the seasonal exacerbation of the disease, as it often occurs in fall-winter season. When eczema disease is determined it should be treated by a dermatologist or trichologist. Treatment of the disease is based strictly on individual approach as lots of conditions shall be taken into consideration and appointed, fsuch as age, sex and the anatomy of the sickness, tolerance to drugs, and previous experience of treatment. Most important factor remains the extent and stage of the disease and its spread on the head and entire body certain details.
