1 - nerves respond to touch and pain. 2 - sweat glands tubes for sweat to come out to the skin surface when temperature rises. 3 - sweat gland tube opening for sweat to come out of the skin surface which helps to regulate body temperature. 4 - Epidermis - the outer layer of skin. 5 - Dermis - the thick layer under the Epidermis. 6 - muscle that raises the hair, the hair stands up on muscle contraction, which may happen because of fear, shock or cold. 7 - nerve endings transmit into brain information about pain and other senses. 8 - blood vessels to supply the skin with oxygen and nutrient substances, also to remove organic waste. 9 - fatty glands produce secretion for the skin lubrication and irrigation, its surplus results in pimple and acne appearance. 10 - hair nipples supply to hair nutrient substances. 11 - Subcutaneous fat, which is under the Dermis layer, protects the body heat and stores nutrients.
