By condition of the hair we judge on other person (or own) appearance. Hair condition in particular is mostly dependent on the scalp skin care, as only healthy skin can grow healthy shiny hair. Scalp condition, in turn, depends a lot on the whole body health condition. The easiest way to have your hair always healthy and beautiful is to strengthen entire body health. We can rephrase well known saying if we say: "Show me your hair and I will tell you who your are". In fact, this is the case - condition of the hair can tell about person's character, habits, and, even, on health status, as our internal discomforts should show in our hair and skin appearance and structure changes. Thus, to conclude, our hair condition has a direct impact of physiological, emotional, psychological and nutritional quality factors. Also, the very current condition of the hair depends on how we treat our hair in terms of appropriate
care. To care properly for your hair you need to know your hair
type and
sort. However, proper care is not only a scalp and hair wash for hygienic reasons. It is also products used for routine hair care, and ability or skills to choose the right products and use them right. In addition to wash, it is also care after washing - hair combing, drying, styling, etc., including proper product usage. Besides factors mentioned already, the hair shaft condition also depends on such external factors as the ultra-violet sun rays, harsh wind, cold, and diversified chemical procedures - hair coloring, perming, etc. Hair is a remarkably tough material. It can stand up to considerable abuse, but over time this can wreak havoc with its natural properties. In particular, its porosity can be badly affected, so that it breaks easily and cannot be styled satisfactorily. On the other hand, we can recognise hair that is in good condition. It shines, it is easy to manage - it just looks good. Even though the hair shaft is technically ’dead’, in that its cells are no longer dividing, we may describe it as ’healthy’. So why can its properties change so much that the hair loses this ’healthy’ appearance? Probably the most obvious aspect of healthy hair is its shine - its ability to reflect light. This property depends mainly on the cuticle of the hair shaft, and how intact it is. So the good condition of your hair in fact depends on the current state of each of the 100,000 or so individual hair shafts on your head. If the cuticles are intact, if their cortex has not been affected by heat or chemicals, and if the hair is not caked with grease and old hair spray, then the hair will probably have reasonable shine and body. Current condition of the hair is characterized by three basic
datas - the hair
texture,
porosity and
elasticity.
