Eczema (from Greek eczeo - stew, as on the surface of the skin it appears as a lot of small bubbles, which quickly burst as bubbles of boiling water) - this skin disease often has a chronic allergic origin, characterized by symptoms as follows: on the surface of the skin there are all sorts of rashes on the background of red gummy skin; small bubbles could be dispersed all over the skin surface with a transparent pinkish in colour fluid inside them; these bubbles merge inbetween forming homogeneous larger bubbles; as these bubbles burst, the skin underneath appears to be wet wet and does not dry for a long time; as it dryes it forms a drying crust, which often has cracks and scratches because of a very strong and constant itching. Gradually, the skin in those areas gets gradually thicker, becomes dry and rough, do not peel off easily. Also in addition eczema is characterized by a very strong and constant itching. This disease is endogenous, or constitutional, that is, external factors do not play a big role in the disease. Currently, the eczema disease is about 40% of all skin diseases. Most patients, regardless of age and sex, have the seasonal exacerbation of the disease, as it often occurs in fall-winter season.
